Hindustan Composites Limited has pioneered the development, manufacture & marketing of Friction Materials in India comprising of Brake Lining, Clutch Facing, Disc Brake Pad, Roll Lining, Brake Block etc., setting high standards in Quality and Technology through collaborations and in-house research & development more than 60 years.

We have modern ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2016 and Railway Quality Management System ISO 22163:2023 Rev-04 certified manufacturing plants with state-of-the-art facilities, situated at Paithan and Bhandara in Maharashtra State, India. Our own in-house capability of manufacturing Binder / Resins enable us to confirm to the highest standard of quality in Friction Materials.

Joint Venture

Hindustan Composites Limited has a Joint Venture with ADVICS India Pvt. Ltd., an affiliate of ADVICS CO. LTD Japan (jointly owned by Aisin Seiki Co. Ltd, Denso Corporation, Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. and Toyota Motor Corporation), who are world leaders in passenger vehicle brake systems and friction materials. A JV Company, with the shareholding of both the parties, has been established for the manufacturing of Disc Brake Pads in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, with technology provided by ADVICS, Japan.

Information of the Joint Venture Company is as follows:

The JV Company is engaged in the manufacturing of Disc Brake Pads and related components for Passenger Vehicles.
JV Company is known as COMPO ADVICS (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED.
The Company has been incorporated in Mumbai and has its production unit located in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra.
Hindustan Composites Ltd. and its affiliated Company hold 51%, and ADVICS India Pvt Ltd. holds 49% of the shareholding in the JV Company.
