These are used as segments in industrial clutches, marine gearbox clutches, tractor steering clutches, power press clutches, industrial brakes and other general engineering requirements in shipping, mining, port related and other industries.

These are Asbestos – free, flexible Roll Linings in the ‘COMPO’ range, made up of synthetic mineral fibres and organic fibres with highly thermos – stable synthetic rubber binding the material in matrix contributing to strength and performance. Avialble in flexible Lining form as well as rigid non – flexible Sheet form.
Owing to its flexibility, it is easy to form ay radius to mount the liner on brake shoes.
The HFP/ HFL can be bonded with any established bonding adhesive. However, for best results, thermosetting adhesives (rubber based phenolic powder resin base should be used).
Bonding temperature with Aluminum Die – Casting and MS material should not exceed 250°Celsius. Proper precautions for bonding surface like Shot blasting/ Vapor degreasing and Adhesive coating as well as bonding surface, preparation is required or any customer specific bonding process.
Applications: Multi – purpose grade for easy bond – ability using phenolic grade – based adhesive. It is suitable for use as band brakes and Hammer plate application in stamping station conversion of coke in coal operations.

Industrial Friction Sheet AF LS-30
Compo AF LS-30 is woven moulded friction material which is Blakish
in appearance having glass yarn & containing non-metallic cloth along
with friction modifier, lubricants & special type phenolic resin is used. It
is available in flat sheet form only & is suitable for lapping operation.
It is used for dry & oil free seb-mersible pump application. & can be
used as thrust bearing in submersible pump as well as monoset
pumps. AF-LS 30 It is having high mechanical strength, along with a
very low co-efficient of friction & low wear rate. Rings and segments
can be readily cut or machined to size at customer end as per
requirements.
Applications: AF LS -30 is versatile material suitable for thrust bearing in submersible pump as well as monoset pumps.

Compestos Ring - LS-30 AF Ring
Compo asbestos free LS-30 Compestos Ring is rigid moulded material
black in colour & which is a composition of man-made fibre as a
carrier, lubricants, heat resistance colours, special phenolic resin &
fillers. It has more compatibility & good mechanical strength with
high level lubricant property. It is available in discs’ form in various
diameters. & is suitable for lapping operation. It is used for dry & oil
free sub-mersible pump application & can be used as thrust bearing in
submersible pump as well as monoset pumps. LS 30 AF ring is having
very low co-efficient of friction & low wear rate.
Applications: It is especially suaitable for under water pumps thrust bearing pads ranging from 0.25 HP to 10 HP of 4", 6", 8" Submersible Pumps, Horizontal & Vertical Openwell Monoblock Pumps.
